Another Brilliant Idea

Just listen to this audio clip of Obama talking about energy cost and how it affects the economy. Now I'm not even an economics major, but what he is saying is so insanely ridiculous that you don't have to be to know it is.
I see where he is coming from, but his approach is all wrong. Basically, the goal is to reduce our consumption of coal. Don't get me wrong; I'm all for this goal. That would mean less pollution as well as less medical problems and fatalities for the miners. If energy wasn't so heavily regulated we would already see more nuclear power plants around the US that would produce clean cheap energy.

Mr. T At His Best

It's a shame that insecure morons with no sense of humor have to ruin the funniest commercials of all time. I pity those fools. I really do.

Best of the 80's

The best thing made in the 80's was Ghostbuster cereal. Mmmm....that brings me back.

Intelligence Pays Dividends

Apparently some guy in Washington state recruited a dozen guys on craigslist to act as decoys for his bank robbery.  Very creative.

Here's the news story!

Social Politics

Something has been bothering me recently. So far I've been exhaling sighs and brushing it off, but now that both presidential candidates have chosen their running mates for vp, things have kind of gone off the deep end.

First of all, I'm sick of people putting in their two cents about why they hate Bush and/or his administration. Why do I bother listening? It's the same story every single time. The Bush bashing only gets things warmed up. Next is all the praise about how great democrats are and why they like Obama. For some reason, the essence of Obama and his campaign has been raised up to resemble some sort of deity. Plus, on the rare occasion I hear about McCain, I can't help but feel a chaffing feeling against my brain cells. McCain is not any better than Obama, but what can you do?

Anyway, the point I wanted to make was that I am tired of this nation of sheep. If it's one thing I can't stand it's the same mundane and monotonous lame political opinions that have become the "social norm." Let me enlighten some of you people. Just to let you know, the USA is not a democracy. It's a representative republic. It's unfair and inaccurate to blame one man, or even one branch of the government. Who is to blame for starting a war and still not finding WMD's? How about all of us! Guess what, congress voted for the war in Iraq. Who's in congress? All the democrats, republicans, conservatives, and liberals we voted for. How about faulty intelligence we collected about wmd's? That means every intelligence agency we have shares blame as well. You see, we're all connected. Next time think twice before laying blame on one person.

Is this topic a little old? Yeah, but it needed to be said. Next time you're with a group of friends and you talking politics, don't be another sheep.

Start the Transformation

It's time to begin the transformation into the new Yeags.  It's time to stop caring about what other people think.  I am whatever I make myself.  I will be that person that everyone wants to be with.  The person that magically radiates their presence.  I will care about not caring.  A leader of people.  Follower no more.  I seek for self-improvement no more.  Self-improvement will start learning from me.  An ounce of my confident and charismatic soul can fill a whole room with total and complete awe.  "Oh my God, is that Yeags?!"  Yes.  Yes it is.
